Qun Li, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Qun Li, M.D., Ph.D. is a research instructor in the Department
of Neurology at Washington University. Dr. Li graduated from Beijing
Medical Univeristy in 1979 and received his M.S. in Neuroanatomy at
the Academy of Chinese Medicine in 1983. In 1996, he received his
Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. Dr. Li's research focuses on
spinal cord injury (SCI) and activity dependent neural development
and refinement. Currently, he investigates embryonic stem (ES) cell
transplantation induced regeneration of descending axons in SCI and
activity dependent neural cell proliferation.
